Not all are equipped to take the Gospel to rural Africa, but we are.
For over 35 years we have done Gospel outreaches in the most rural parts of Africa, to reach the unreached. In preparation for an outreach, our team meets with the local church leaders to discuss Jesus Alive’s mission and vision.
Because we seek to equip and help grow the local church, we do not establish our own churches but rather train pastors, counselors, and intercessors to use our Christian Discipleship Program (CDP) to follow up and disciple their community members post each outreach.
Once legal permissions are obtained, the event grounds are prepared and the equipment is set up. Each outreach team is equipped with a self-contained outreach rig suitable for crowds of up to 30,000 people. Each rig has a generator, sound equipment, sound tower, stage, lights, music equipment as well as all the support material and vehicles needed to move through the toughest African terrain to reach to most rural villages.
Our Gospel outreaches include daily open-air meetings for one week, inviting the entire community and all local church congregations. Our evangelists preach a Gospel message of the saving grace of Jesus Christ, with a call to Salvation! All who respond are given a follow-up booklet in their language and their details recorded for further follow up by their local church leaders.
Before the end of the meeting, a prayer is offered to all those in need of healing or a miracle from God. Time is then given to individuals who wish to share their testimonies.
